Castles and Chateaux on Anglesey Island, Wales

After sleeping in following my huuuuuuge day on the Statesman to Scotland and back, I decided to go exploring on Anglesey…

…coming in to Beaumaris – now one of my favourite places…

Beaumaris Castle…

 

 

Perfect place for lunch…  Bulkeley Hotel – built before the reign of Queen Victoria and with an architect whose name is very relevant for the stunningly beautiful building – Mr Hansom.

…and stopping in for a drink at the stunning Chateau Rhianfa…

 

 

…and then home safe and sound back to my cute little BnB across the road from a lovely old cemetery…
