Happy 2023, my Friends! I know it’s backwards time-wise, but I just have to start this post with the video of the fireworks last night here in Bucharest… It was AMAZING!!!

Oh, yes – farewell beautiful Italy… The cloud formations were really interesting on this trip… First from Florence to Rome, then Rome to Bucharest.

The owner and his wife are so lovely – the gave me chocolates upon my arrival…
…and this is the view that greeted me on the very last day of 2022 – beautiful!
…and to top it all off, the owner came back with a bottle of Romanian sparkling wine so I could toast the new year!
All this on top of the glorious friends I have ~ I feel so very blessed…
